About the game

Cholao was the second game we developed together for a game jam. The theme was “Oiga, Mire y Vea” (“Hey, Look and See”), an expression that is very representative of Cali's culture.

We started from one of the most typical and loved desserts in Cali, the cholao, a shaved-ice treat with fruit. We put a lot of care into the project, trying to bring the essence, color and joy of the culture of Valle del Cauca into the game.

Xaicor, Maik, Checho, Karol, Ronnie, Oscarin, and Jiko.

6th place out of 16 games and 1st in the Use of the Theme category (best use of the theme)
